
Our U21 Elite Team Program is designed for the 18YO and older athlete who is committed to a high level of excellence within a structured USSA and FIS program. On-snow training is available 6 days per week, Tuesday thru Sunday.
The team races in the PNSA and beyond with 60% or more of the time spent in gate training coupled with all-mountain free-skiing and drills as well as speed training. All athletes will have the opportunity of racing out of division and have the opportunity for an international race experience. All athletes will have race schedules designed in accordance with point profiles with an emphasis on FIS racing and advancement. All athletes will have a structured physical conditioning program to maximize athletic potential. This program will be available throughout the year and athletes will be required to participate.
Goal setting will be done with each athlete and will be reviewed four times per year. Sports psychology and nutritional seminars will be presented on a frequent basis. Our U21 Elite Team athletes are expected to uphold the intrinsic values of the Cascade Winter Sports Club which are; good sportsmanship, responsibility, commitment, organization, tenacity, honesty and integrity.Athletes will train with their coaches and other groups from the Ski Team every Tuesday thru Friday night at Ski Bowl, with an emphasis on skiing fundamentals but with more directed gate training techniques and tactics. Weekend training will occur at both Timberline and Ski Bowl.
Program fee includes a CWSC membership.
